Baby toys
There is an overload of baby toys on the consumer market,
some offering cheap distractions, others offering well-designed developmental
models built to last repeated usage by multiple children. There are
also a growing abundance of classic toys that have stood the test of
time, and remain family favorites.
Of all the varieties and brands available, parents should consider
carefully their investment in baby toys. Purchasing toys can be expensive,
especially when new parents are worrying about the countless other purchases
they must make to prepare themselves for a new infant. But investing
in clean, durable, and safe toys is imperative to providing a stimulating,
non-toxic atmosphere for a newborn.
What’s more, parents and gift givers should be aware of the age
requirements for the toys they purchase a new baby. Most brands explicitly
mark the age range best suited for a toy’s variety of play. This
is not simply a marketing strategy. Many toys have tiny accessories
or moving parts that are potentially harmful to small children or infants.
